Share the Health Cambodia is a non profit organization begun in 2008 by James Garcia, a Paramedic, and his wife Cara Garcia, a Registered Nurse.
While visiting Cambodia in April 2008 we were stunned by the total lack of basic medical care available to its citizens. We were overwhelmed by the easily treatable and curable diseases we saw killing the people. As medical professionals, we could not just ignore something we knew we could prevent and cure. We are dedicated to return to Cambodia and initiate a free basic care clinic.
